Because of course the news needs a basic, easy-to-follow story arc, as it tracks events in the world, without adjusting. But why has no commentator pointed out the simple fact that this is the Democratic Party?

Maybe the major news channels that have multiple stations should split them up as follows.
One station just lists bare facts and draws no conclusions.
One station draws conclusions based on logical assumptions.
One station speculates as to the hidden meaning of the events and offers reality-altering opinions based on things completely out of context.
