Capsule Review: "Casino Royale"

The credits rolled, and I turned to the wife and said:

"As your first James Bond film, this was likely the best one. I loved it; I felt like I was 12 again. While you probably felt like you were trapped in the mind of a 12 year old boy for long stretches of time."

She nodded and said, "Yeah."

Cause I need a time-waster?

Here's something I churned out a bit ago and forgot to actually post. It's appealingly juvenile.

Meme.

The rules are: Take the last 10 songs that your itunes/ipod/whatever randomly played and add "in my pants" to the end of the title. (From my buddy Bobby.)

The last 10 things in my pants:

1. "They All Change in my pants" (774th Street Quartet)
2. "What Comes Before in my pants" (Ben Goldberg / John Schott / Michael Sarin)
3. "Six Pianos in my pants" (Steve Reich)
4. "Le Sacrifice - Introduction in my pants" (Igor Stravinsky, from Le Sacre du Printemps)
5. "MX Missiles in my pants" (Andrew Bird)
6. "Let's Cool One in my pants" (Steve Lacy)
7. "Dead Man in my pants" (John Zorn)
8. "The Migratory Bird in my pants" (Bobby Previte)
9. "29 Miles of Black Snow in my pants" (Ken Vandermark)
10. "I Think I Need a New Heart in my pants" (The Magnetic Fields)

Wherein I make an aphorism (possibly)...

Optimism is a failure of imagination.

(Am I the first one to say this, or is my brain spitting something up from somewhere else? I think it might be vaguely original, but it seems too obvious for that to be the case.)

Consumed with studying at present, more in a week or so.
