Does anybody else find it profoundly disturbing that we now have nationalized investment insurance while health insurance is still largely in the private sector?

I find pretty much everything these days is profoundly disturbing and wistfully think of the days in ancient times when I would have already surpassed my life expectancy and not have to worry about any of this.
Uh, yeah. I think that was one of the first things out of my mouth. "Oh - we own AIG now. Do we all get haelth insurance?"
Time for torches and pitchforks.
